About
Theatrecomrades is committed to bringing quality, innovative theatre to Hawke’s Bay. We are offering an opportunity for audiences to experience professional theatre and we wish to support and foster local
emerging and established performers, and employ professional theatre makers to provide mentoring and experience.
Theatrecomrades was launched in 2006 by Sally and Megan as a data-based website to promote theatre collaboration in Wellington. It also presented theatre productions, in collaboration with The Amazing Orange Tricycle, including the award-winning Porcelain Grin at BATS Theatre, The Vagina Monologues at Toi Whakaari: NZ Drama School, and premiered Winter by Diane Spodarek, directed by Sally Richards.
